"My all time high was just under 500 lbs. But towards the end of 2017 I decided I wanted to work harder on losing weight. My job goes past full time, sometimes way past. So it would mean dedicated focus. I called Joy Bowen because I was going to start boxing and I wanted some additional nutritional changes. JOY'S STORY

I'm a bold, energetic, and DRIVEN wife and mom of 2, retired church ministry leader and breast cancer survivor who is in love with making fitness fun!!! I’ve been a Coach with Beachbody for over 7 years now and proudly have one of the Top Teams in the Company!! 

I started this opportunity in 2014 when I was a BUSY full-time leader in the non-profit world.  Working in the non-profit sector means that we felt like a non-profit family.  When I received my breast cancer diagnosis, I knew the financial stress would be significant on our family.  When I started searching for a way to get my sexy, confident self back after my bi-lateral mastectomy,  something spoke to my heart and told me that this would be the thing that would forever change the course of my life.  And holy heck, it has not only changed my life....it's helped hundreds of women experience the same!

I had NO clue what it was or how to do it, but I just knew that I needed to be a part of it and trusted the system that was given to me.  The same system I will give to you.

You see me now as this girl with a big social media following -- but before starting this I was just someone who wanted more for her life.

Anyone can do this who is willing to put in the work, be patient, imperfect, and consistent! TRULY!  I now believe in failing forward and loving yourself through the inevitable “setbacks” in life and choosing gratitude during every phase of the journey. My mission is to empower women to wake up their inner badass, take action, and level up to their full God-given potential

ANDREW'S STORY

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘥, 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵?”

Imagine waking up with a tube in your throat and being greeted with those words from your cardiologist…..the one you didn’t have had before the tube had become a necessity.

​

That is where my story begins.  With an undetected heart condition that reared it’s head in the middle of my black belt test.  The heart condition that put me in a medically induced coma for 36 hours, lead to a Life Flite Helicopter ride, made my wife think there was a real possibility that she would be a widow and the now constant reminder that your health really matters.

For years, I had been focused on getting healthy enough to perform at the top of my game for that test.  That test proved that it was far more than just a really cool belt.  My fitness literally saved my life.

​

Now I bring a passion for helping others.   Having spent the majority of my professional career on the road, I have seen far too many people who have given up control of their health to their circumstances.  I am on a mission to help change that.

​

The mission was further clarified earlier this year when I was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration.  A condition that leads to blindness and the only way to fight it is eat right, exercise and take your vitamins.
